Avenues of gnarled
Bare spreading branches
Sprays of iridescent mauve flowers
Blossom in a carpet beneath
I head down the avenue
Colour above me
Colour below me
Bright blue sky
Spring in Brisbane
Great photos and I like the poem, too 🙂 Unfortunately, we get lots of frost in winter here in Victoria and my Jacaranda didn’t make it 😦
Thanks for the comment. I’m sure there are some lovely European blossom trees in Victoriathat make up for the lack of Jacarandas.
